Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is a toast from an old Soviet movie: "my grandfather once said: I have the desire to buy a house, but do not have the opportunity. I have the opportunity to buy a goat... but do not have a desire. Let us drink to our desires always aligning with our opportunities!"

When I wanted to travel I did not have the opportunity but now that I do, my desire is fading. I want to reignite that by meeting People (capital "P", yes) who are proof that great, kind, funny people exist all over the world.
