Hi I'm Alex , I'm from New Zealand . During the day I am an electrical engineer designing anything to do with industrial automation . During my spare time (or you could say my second job! ) , I am a triathlete and runner , having competed in anything from an 800m running race to an Ironman Triathlon . As you can tell I really enjoy the outdoors , drinking coffee , drinking beers , reading books and love some good chat around some good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just left my job and since the world has opened up again , I am going to Europe via the USA and Canada to work and travel. I want to meet locals and get to know places a bit better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Compete in triathlons (half IM , Ironman) , running races (marathons , half marathons etc.) , swimming races , qualified surf lifeguard. Raised money for the mental health foundation of NZ .
