Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that coachsurfing will allow me to have a richer experience of a new place where I can connect more easily with locals and not have a typical tourist experience.

Likewise when I am back home I hope to be able to show visitors an authentic experience of my home town.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have an eclectic taste ranging from classic jazz to electronic to metal and everything in between. If it touches my soul I will move to it.

Movies: I watch most genres - except horror. Favourite movies include The Matrix, Dead Poets Society, True Romance. I love thought-provoking documentaries that make me question myself and my world.

Books: I tend to read a lot of personal development books both in the business space and in the mindfulness and consciousness space. For leisure and escapism I enjoy crime novel, especially Michael Connelly Books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trekked to Anapurna Base Camp in Nepal. It physically tested my endurance and it mentally challenged my fear of heights. I live by the motto: Face your Fears - so many of my achievements are related to fears - fear of height: when ziplining, abseiling and climbing. Fear of submersion: got my diving certificate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a coach by profession, so teaching, learning and sharing comes naturally to me. I am involved in two businesses and through them teach in a wide range of disciplines from life coaching, holistic wellness, happiness, strategic business coaching, digital skills and entrepreneurial confidence.

I seek out opportunities to learn all the time. I am particularly interested in understanding humans - how we connect; the relationship with self and others; how we can become better selves.

My way of showing love has always been through cooking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would make me so happy to cook and share some of the food from my own country and the places I have travelled. Additionally, I would be happy to share of my professional knowledge and skills as a coach.
