I'm Alex, an American/French based in Paris. Last year I quit my job to go live in Taiwan to learn Mandarin, connect with my roots and explore more of east Asia. I'm relatively new to Couchsurfing, but have aways loved meeting and exchanging with people from all over during my travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While moving from Paris to Taipei I decided to take the long way and travel without flying. 3 months, 15 countries and many trains, buses, cars and boats later I ended up in Taiwan full of unforgettable experiences. While there were too many highlights too name, my fondest memories are of the people I met along the way (very often on 20-hour train rides!)
