About Me

WHAT’S UP? I am a fraternal twin, born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I grew up heavily involved in everything outdoors and in music. My love for live sound led me to move to Nashville, Tennessee and attend Belmont University where I graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering in 2017. Since then, I have toured as a sound guy with artists like Gary Allan, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Filmore, & Pop Evil. I hope to stay on the road for many years to come because I honestly don’t feel like I work a day in my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What can I say... I love traveling and meeting people through new experiences! Touring and staying in hotels year round makes me want to branch out and discover new ways to see the same places!

Interests

I feel like I have gone through so many phases of interests that have shaped who I am today, BUT the big ones are music, live sound, guitar, baseball, golf, hiking, fishing, and traveling anywhere & everywhere!

Music, Movies, and Books

Okay, so the music thing is a bit complicated... but music is pretty much my life! My dad raised me on classic rock from the 60s-80s (Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.). That will always be my first love. When I first picked up a guitar, I got into the blues and instrument music more (LOVE Eric Johnson, Eric. Clapton, Robben Ford, so many more). Finally, when I moved to Nashville - yes, you guessed it - I started to like country. Now, my favorite country artists are Maren Morris, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, and Miranda Lambert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 years old I got to attend Game 7 of the 2011 World Series with my twin brother and watch our favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals, win the World Series at home!

Teach, Learn, Share

The coolest quote I’ve ever come across about life is: “Nobody looks back on their life and remembers the nights they got plenty of sleep.” I am constantly inspired my others to pursue a life full of ambition, nonstop learning, and positivity. The more we put into anything or anyone, the more we can get out of it, so why not go all in all the time?!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences touring the US with music groups, including my favorite activities in the cities I have been to!
