I'm an educator who enjoys nature, skateboarding, surfing, cooking, music, and other fun stuff.

I've been teaching high school and college English for the last 8 years. I'm about to start graduate school in educational linguistics in the Fall of 2017 here in my life long home of the San Francisco Bay Area.

I loooooove California - the beaches, cliffs, people, woods, deserts, etc - but I'm thrilled at the opportunity to travel. This summer I'll be spending a couple of months in Europe. I've mostly traveled in Central America, so I'm excited to expand my travel horizons :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the privilege to work with amazing students from all over the world, support young skaters in developing healthy skating and nutritional habits, and have made amazing friends through all this and more. I'm super stoked on life and feel blessed to be able to do things I love on a regular basis. Simply packing up and going surfing with friends twice a week helps me feel in touch with the natural environment and with a strong social community of healthy people. Stoked!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an English teacher and I know lots about politics - both American politics and geopolitical stuff. I am a student of history, so exploring the reasons why different global dynamics are happening is part of what helps me understand the complicated present.

I also love skateboarding and surfing!
