I grew up just in a couple places in North London and my hometown is a place called Harpenden (of Peep Show fame). I spend most of my time in Manchester which I where I'm at university, studying Chemical Engineering. I enjoy my degree but it sometimes is as dry as it sounds! So I have to make life interesting in my spare time, which I do through reading, photography, listening to and making music, trying any and all experiences I can, meeting new people in new places.

At the moment I'm travelling up the US west coast from San Francisco to Vancouver BC, with my cousin who's also an avid traveller and is attending UBC for the next year (sadly I won't get to stay that long). We've been travelling up the highway 101 doing hikes in various national parks and checking out the cities.

My next mission is Southeast Asia as I've spent a fair amount of time travelling in Europe and North America, and I would love to experience Eastern cities and environments.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Travelling up the west coast me and my cousin have been camping outside of the cities and Couchsurfing inside of them. We're trying to get to Vancouver by the start of term and from our experiences Couchsurfing has been a fantastic way of learning new things about the area which you'd never get in a guide book, and meeting locals to get a real taste of the city. After all that's what travelling is about!

兴趣

I am open to any and all experiences but I love good music and good drink. I love cooking while I'm at uni and spend a lot of time reading food blogs. I keep healthy mostly through swimming and cycling but am slowly training for a triathlon in 2018 so am working on running too. I love to talk about science, music and movies but there's nothing I wouldn't want to talk about

I love talking about physics, maths, space and my passion is teaching people about all these things. If I can teach one person something new about the universe then that's a successful day in my mind.

I love to hear about areas that I have little academic exposure to. I like to keep and open mind to all fields and love learning new ways of thinking about things I have no idea about.
