I love life. There is so much good in the world and I want to experience a lot of it.

I love surfing and playing music. I have been developing as a singer/songwriter for years and am finally starting to make music I am proud of. Mostly folk/blues style but there are so many influences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't been in a good position to host yet, but would love to show you around Victoria and the surrounding beaches/forests.

I'll be on Oahu starting mid-March and hope to spend a month or two surfing/hiking/camping and getting a feel for what Hawaii is really like.

Music.
Playing guitar is a passion. Acoustic/ electric, folk, blues, reggae, funk, jazz, experimental. I love to sit down and play; whatever comes to mind. One of the things I like more that just playing is having a good jam. Skill doesn't really matter as long as everyone involved is feeling the music.

I dabble in harmonica, keyboard, banjo, accordion, drums...

Surfing. (Wave surfing)
I fell in love with the idea of surfing as a boy. although I didn't try it until I was 15. I've been hooked ever since. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to get a job teaching beginner surf lessons with Bruhwiler Surf School in Tofino Canada. Check it out online or see Raph Bruhwiler (the owner) on YouTube

I have been playing guitar daily for about nine years now so I'm sure that I could show beginners a few things. Actually I quite enjoy sharing my guitar knowledge, so if you are in Victoria and want some tips, or a jam partner, send me a message!
