I'd say I'm a pretty open minded and fun guy, though sometimes a little introverted. I was born and raised in Brandenburg State in the very east of Germany. We lived near the Polish border - so near, that sometimes I had a Polish mobile connection instead of the notoriously bad German one. After graduating I moved to the western State of North Rhine-Westfalia. I'm currently living in the city of Cologne, where I graduated nursing school and now I'm working in a big hospital at an Intensive Care Unit.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Always wanted to try Couchsurfing. When I finally started to make my own money Covid was emerging which made traveling pretty much impossible. I finally met the first other Couchsurfers on a solo trip to Jordan and had my first stay with one in England.

I really enjoy meeting up local people and try to get a grasp of local people, culture and cuisine. :)

When I went to Paris with some friends, we had an apartment in St. Denis, a suburb of Paris which is not that touristy, to say the least. When walked some kilometers to get to the nearest bigger supermarket and when we waited for our tram afterwards, we casually talked in German and one guy randomly came to us and started to talk to us in German - first asking some questions about us and then telling us about how he learned German from his ex-girlfriend and that he really liked the language and wanted to visit the country some time in the future. The conversation was pretty relaxed and lighthearted in some place we didn't think some random guy would speak our language. Still one of my favourite memories from that trip.
