About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To shed the shackles of my two years of recently completed full time employment and go and see what the rest of the world looks like!
ABOUT ME
24, just out of a two year full-time role now off on a year long trip around the world to go enjoy myself, hopefully find some work in Australia and India. I'd like to think of myself as being funny, non smoker, sociable but not intrusive, from south London. Half Australian, half British.

PHILOSOPHY
Every new years my resolution is to be better and every birthday I wish to be happy. Pretty happy to chase both of those through life
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking forward to starting, but basically I really like travelling and meeting people. This ticks both boxes. Can't put people up at the moment, but upon returning to London I'm hoping to repay the favour and pass it on!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as of yet. Have a lot of friends who have done it though
Interests
Travelling (unsurprisingly!), reading, movies, American football and basketball, soccer, video games and writing. I like meeting new people and am looking forward to seeing how this couch surfing malarkey works

Music, Movies, and Books
I love foreign cinema; classic American films like Bullitt, Philadelphia Story, anything with Jimmy Stewart; big fan of independent cinema (studied film for a handful of years).
Hip hop and jazz are my go to genres but I really like the Strokes, drum n bass - an eclectic taste essentially.
Books: George Orwell, Norman Mailer, autobiographies, Dostoyevsky (always got a book or two that I'm reading at any time)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once cycled half the distance across France with a tent and gas stove on my back with my "survival French". It was a pretty fun adventure, I learnt how bad I was at directions but loved it all.
Teach, Learn, Share
Love discussing philosophy, film, music. Have been involved in local politics and got a degree in the subject. Generally try and pick up a bit of everything. I'd rather not be an expert at anything but competent at a range of things so I pursue learning of all sorts.
