ABOUT ME

Just moved to Delhi, but i have been living in the South of the Country and loved every bit of it, although there was no reason to learn Hindi. So now I took a challenge of trying out living in the capital. As i am "new" here and i have a limit number of the people i know in the city, so don't hesitate to contact me if you read my profile and think we can get alone, i would be happy to hang out. However, since I would have to be a little on guard contact if contacted by the males so please don't take it personally, just we, girls, have to take care of ourselves.

I try to live by the motos:
- try to enjoy small things,
- learning is the best, there is no knowledge that is stupid,
- staying childish keeps sanity,
- serious doesn't mean you have to be not fun,
- best conversations are either really smart or super silly so practice both,
- meet interesting warm people and and don't let them go,
- love things that remind you of the special people but don't forget you love those people more than the things,
- doing nothing and being lazy is really enjoyable and nobody should blame you for that,
- live is a just a number of stories you get to tell so make you better make them interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

I still believe that experience whether good or bad depends on the people the most, quoting the "Info the wild" movie, "happiness only real when shared". So whenever travel or stay home, the thing I have to make sure there are great people around. Some may come across for a day or some will be there for the more significant time in life. I try to do my best to surround with the people who have interesting personality and knowledgeable opinions to offer and great stories to tell.

I met few great people through couchsurfing and i like this website the most for the fact that i can simply read a profile and see if we could match as personalities and whoever is here already says that would like to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and my flatmate hosted some people in Berlin and i contacted few people just to meet up and we ended up being friends or at least having lots of fun if someone was just passing by.

Interests

In general, I don't think there is a topic that doesn't interest me at all, if there is something i don't know, i would love to hear and read about that.

I like to keep a track of what happens in the world including politics.

I am really passionate about art and i have difficulties enjoying modern art same time. I think an art museum is my happy place in the world.

I like watching movies and i like good cinema. Watching less movies nowadays as switched more tv shows cause they are really addictive. :P

I also like genetics and anthropology and i try to learn something new in these fields. Although i know too little so far :)

Traveling is a passion as well. Whenever i get chance i try to get out and discover new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love reading books, however it is a phase based occupations. Favorites will be Updike, Camus and Dostoevskiy (I am Russian after all).
Listen to music a lot, i like the internet playlists, whre i don't know what which song i will be getting, particularly i like Jazz and classical music in addition to brit-pop, indie, folk music and sometimes electronic. I love Beirut, Queen, Frank Sinatra and Sia.
