Hi! I'm Alex Nelsen. I am a 23 year old traveler coming from the United States, i come from Boise, Idaho But am currently in Europe and hoping to hop from town to town learning about any and all cultures and languages! I quit my job last summer to travel and here I am! I love the outdoors, I love to backpack and camp. I love beer and Buddhism, I love all living things and have a soft spot for animals of all kinds. I believe that if you have an open, compassionate heart, then only good things will come to you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn about the cultures of the countries I visit, more than just the big cities and typical tourist attractions! Would love to meet people from around the world willing to offer a bed, couch, or even a spot on the floor to a nice, compassionate American from Idaho. I would love if you have time to show me around but am open to any bit of hospitality your willing to give! If you don't have time to show me around that is fine as well! Also, when I go back home I would love to share my culture with others and will surely be accepting guests!

Interests

Backpacking/hiking, camping, reading, riding bikes/running, white water rafting, fast cars, yoga, Karaoke, LOVE sports my favorite teams are the Portland Trailblazers and the Tottenham spurs, just recently started learning about futbol, enjoy meeting new friends, cooking! Would love to learn some culinary knowledge from any country, and a general interest in learning all this life can teach ✌🏻️✌🏻️
