About Me
UPDATE: For me Couchsurfing is about sharing. Unfortunately in recent times some people are using this community for their self-interest. People that only want to take and never give back.
So if you never hosted someone, please don't send me any request, because it might be rejected without replying.
I had over 20 guests and I've been hosted only 3 times so far. Everyone talks about a better world, but it would never happen if you don't help a little. Try to host someone first, it's very rewarding.
---------------------------
In a previous life I was a filmmaker, scriptwriter and photographer, so those subjects are dear to me.
I've ran many marathons since young age and danced tango for a few years until my left knee gave up, for now I am just enjoying few jogs a week. I like most sports and I enjoy nature, camping and hikes.
I've been practicing intermittent fasting for the past five years: sorry if my fridge is empty and I cannot offer you spontaneously breakfast or dinner.
I am always looking forward to share my place with the world and host people, preferably people "traveling or backpacking" than rather just "visiting or passing by".
In case your mother tongue is one of these, I'll appreciate if you speak at home German, French or Chinese, rather than English or Spanish (soy de Madrid así q los hispanoparlantes escribidme en castellano), because I have not that many chances to speak them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before "couchsurfing" existed, I was hosted by many kind people around the world. It was best way to have an insight of how do local people live and to get to know them beyond a greeting on the streets.
When I travel, I like to meet local people, foreigners living abroad or community projects. I am mostly interested in see how people live, what they think and feel, exchange ideas…

I like most music, from classical to pop. My all-time idols are George Michael, Juan Luis Guerra, Antonio Vega and Tschaikovsky.
I love the films of Kubrick, Zhang YiMou, Tarantino, Kurosawa, Cohen Brothers, Kitano, Miike and many more.
Jacques Gernet's Le Monde Chinois , Petrarca's Il Canzoniere, The Picture of Dorian Gray by O.Wilde, Camus' L'Étranger.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My last big trip: East Africa overland. I got a motorbike there and rode over so many different landscapes and situations. I started in Ethiopia and finished few months later in Cape Town.
