My current mission:
To get 7th graders excited about reading and hopefully create more compassionate human beings while I'm at it. I moved to Texas 2 years ago for a teaching program called Urban Teachers to serve high need populations. I just earned my Masters in Education and will earn my teaching certification next year! My next mission is to travel to all 10 Medieval Times locations in one epic road trip.

What excites me:
Adventures and challenges. Doesn't matter if its a physical, mental, endurance, spiritual, or a food challenge (or all 5 like the Taco Bell Challenge!). I just love pushing myself and others beyond what is thought possible. Currently training for my first ultramarathon!

My happy place:
Whether I'm backpacking, rock climbing, or just sitting around a campfire, I am most happy under the open skies with people I love.
