Hey together,
I am a bike nerd on a long overland trip from Australia to Germany. I love all kinds of outdoor adventures and the people that come with it. I've spent 4 years down under and ridden several bikes around the country while working different kind of jobs (mostly rural, agricultural). I developed a big interest in mechanics and fixing things. Always proud to be able to help people with something I am good at.
I've done a few hikes and hundreds of nights camping, mostly in Australia.
So far I've focused on bikes (all kinds from dirt to street to race). I've tried myself with sailing which seems to create awesome adventures aswell.
I'd like to get more into climbing, mountaineering and paragliding!
Even though it became less and less important in my life and used to enjoy some good political or academic debates.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Heard great stories from friends who tried it. Creating unique experiences with locals and forming new friendships. Solo traveling can be lonely at times and there's nothing better than connecting with a like minded person.

Interesses

My main 'thing' is bikes and everything that comes with it. I love everything with two wheels (yes even a scooter, if it's somewhat special). Don't think I am a snob I appreciate everyone who shares this passion and don't care if someone doesn't. Just tell me to shut up if it becomes too much bike talk 🤣

Too many. Most proud of in an adventure sense is crossing the Canning stock route in Western Australia solo by motorcycle. 1600km of pure sand desert tracks through 3 big deserts.

Love mechanics, eager to learn more but also share what I've learned on the way. For some time I used to be quite passionate about cooking, though that calmed down a bit since I've been living of my bike.
Generally quite handy with all sorts of hands on stuff.
Would like to learn more about aesthetics like fashion, design, illustration etc. Just so fascinating how talented people can make things look good!
And of course any adventure sports!

Of course I can cook up a meal or help you fix something on your vehicle or house. (Please don't be disappointed though, many things just aren't done 'like that' without spare parts or special tools etc)
