Music, Movies, and Books
My musical interests are split between jazz, classic rock, and indie/alternative artists. Growing up, my favorite movie was the Lion King, and I guess I haven't picked a favorite "adult" movie yet. (Some of my favorites from the last couple years include Gravity, Boyhood, and The Way Way Back.) Ditto with books - I was all about Harry Potter growing up, and haven't found another absolute "favorite," but I've enjoyed reading everything from Jonathan Franzen to Bill Bryson to Michael Pollan. Belatedly working my way through Game of Thrones as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Through-hiked 175 miles on the Tahoe Rim Trail - beating my previous long backpacking trip by 155 miles. Encountered a mama bear with her cubs and sang her a Beatles song to keep from getting mauled.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sing-alongs on guitar; new recipes in the kitchen (I like to cook!)
