About Me

I am an university student from Bulgaria - Land of the roses. I love my country, I've spent my whole life in it. It is beautiful and truly worth visiting, and In my opinion this stands true for every country there is.

In my nature, I am a person with logical thinking and a rational approach to the world. I am always positive and calm. After all, the more positive you are, the higher are the chances for good things to come along, right! I always give my best in what I am doing and I try being nice and helpful when it comes to anyone - be it friends or strangers.

I like meeting new people, especially if they are part of a different culture. To me intelligence is what matters most, as well as the ability of the other person to lead a decent conversation.

And last, but not least, I love my life and I'd like to share it with as many people as possible (not through social networks but through real experience :D)!

P.S.: I eat slowly because I like enjoying my food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to Couchsurfing by two Czech friends in 2017. Couple of weeks after telling me about it they actually tried it and spent a week couchsurfing in Chicago. They loved it and this was enough of a reason for me to go through the same experience.

The reason I joined Couchsurfing is that the idea of giving and receiving is at its core - you provide accommodation, you are provided accommodation. This is brilliant! Combined with the fact that you get to stay with other mind-opened Couchsurfers for a couple of days makes the whole thing a time well spent.

Probably the best point about it is that you get to stay with locals. My previous trips have taught me that local people are the ones who can tell you what and when to visit and how to be prepared for it so you can have the maximum. And come on, if you want to visit as many places as you can in your lifetime, you most likely won't go to the same place twice, that's why better spend your time there in the best way possible!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to all kinds of music, in all kind of languages, depends on the mood. Same is with the movies, I love having movie nights, one of my favourite ways to chill after a long day. The books I read are usually business related since I want to have a better understanding of how the financial world works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I think about it:
-traveled 5000 kilometers all alone just to visit my girfriend in India
-won a pet goldfish at something like a beer-pong game
-lived with clothes from my hand luggage for 2 months because my suitcase got delayed in USA
-another amazing thing is that amazing things always happen around me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge, my stories and my sense of humor, of course.

I could show off my cooking skills - though not so developed, I still have them.

In general, I could share a long lasting (and probably international) friendship with the hosts.

(I also have a passion for showing my pictures to other people. Think about it, if you keep your pictures to yourself and never show them to anyone, then what is the purpose of having them? And when you tell the story behind each of the photos you can truly relive the experience you've had at that moment, which is exactly what the point of taking pics is!)
