I'm Alex, from Barcelona. I have a background in film and media, although my focus has been slowly shifting into social justice, environmentalism and food security, which I believe are intersectional and closely related. I enjoy photography, filmmaking, hiking and woodworking. I also love cycling as a way of travelling, and I have some long -and slow- distance trips in my mind where I'd love to get involved in some sustainable projects meanwhile🌿. I'm currently enrolled on a Master's Degree in Agroecology, in Barcelona, to learn more about sustainable agriculture.

I tend to grow interest on many things very fast, and I always want to understand how things work. Although I'd say I'm devoted for anything related to manual and creative work. I'm a bicycle mechanic and a woodturning apprentice, and I'm currently enrolled on a Master's Degree in Agroecology and Organic Agriculture. I have been growing a garden for the last 6 years and working at an organic veggies farm in the outskirts of Barcelona, both as a farmer and an environmental educator, so I also have knowledge in regenerative agriculture, soil health and a bit of permaculture.
