What’s up, I’m Alex

I’m from the Santa Marta favela in Rio de Janeiro. Since I was a kid, I’ve always been curious, observant, and passionate about learning. That’s how I taught myself English and French, and today I use these languages to connect with the world—especially with travelers who want to see the real side of Brazil.

I’m an entrepreneur, a tourism student at SENAC, and I work with what I love: showing my community with truth, respect, and pride. I created Turismo Favela Experience, an authentic tour that goes way beyond the usual—it’s about culture, history, real-life stories, and deep exchange.

I also make videos on YouTube because I believe in the power of the internet to change lives. I’m planning to launch my own clothing brand called Malory, mixing favela style, attitude, and representation.

I love meeting new people, having real conversations with folks from all over, and I’m always working on becoming better—in life, in business, and as a human being.
