Overview
About Me
My name is Alex and I am a travel addict currently In withdrawal. My first love was India, which led me back to Asia to travel in Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. While I explore my various other passions such as art, music, Baseball, and local weekend Backpacking/Camping, I work as a consultant in Manhattan sitting at a desk dreaming of the great outdoors and all the places in the world I've yet to see... Just saving those $s for my next big adventure.
Going right back to Asia is highest on my radar. SoUth America and Africa are also. Will eventually make my way to Europe
I am now back home in New York and am open to weekend couchsurfing guests.:: thing is I don't currently have a couch just a queen Sized bed. Promised so many friends abroad they'd have a place to stay in New York and intend to keep that end of the bargain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my book, having a few good friends around the world and the U.S is more exciting than having a lot of friends at home. The world is getting smaller and I want to be a part of the phenomenon.
Will host the right people in NY. im not the guy to show you the city... But I will share the beauty of the Lower Hudson valley... Most beautiful in the summer and the fall. Message me if you want to get to know me :)
Interests
I am very concerned and interested with topics in climate change and sustainable development.
In my free time I also like to draw and paint. If you give me the supplies I would be happy to make a charcoal black and white portrait of you or your favorite animal... Landscapes I can do too but those take a while!
