ABOUT ME

Love to travel, meet new people and learn about new cultures and different ways of life. So far i have been fortunate enough to visit countries around Europe, North Africa, SE Asia and North America.

I enjoy meaningful conversations, spiritual and community development, socialising, running, hiking and generally love being outdoors!

When travelling I like to get the opportunity to meet local people and get a real feel for places not just a tourist perspective!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is often a struggle but it is beautiful at the same time. I try to show love and compassion to all beings and play a part, however small it maybe, in reducing some of the suffering in the world.
It may be simplistic, but I believe that if we can learn to truly love ourselves, each other and the world we have been blessed with then amazing changes could occur from which we, and our future generations, would all benefit.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated by hosting visitors to my city, telling other people about the project at every suitable opportunity and also joining many events whilst travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have enjoyed many wonderful experiences since joining couchsurfing and met some fantastic people. It's great to be able to meet new people from all over the world and share part of yourself and your own knowledge and experiences too.
It is a fantastic way to help build a culture of greater tolerance, respect and understanding between people!

Interessen

I like getting out the house, meeting up with friends, running, walking, talking, cycling, listening to music, being involved in my community,finding out what's happening in the area, traveling, camping, seeing new places and faces and admiring the beauty in the world!

Music: I grew up listening to HipHop in the era when it was more positive and socially conscious and it has played a big part in my life. I also enjoy soul, funk, jazz, reggae, dance and world music...
Books: Reading is something I really need to get back into the habit of doing. Just lately my reading time has been spent dipping in and out of academic books for university assignments. I have many books on spirituality, personal development, travel, music etc and hope to find time to sit down and read them one day!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Rushing from work as a teenager to get to the hospital in time to see my daughter being born. It was an amazing and emotional experience!
