Although seeing new places is great, meeting new people is one of the best things about travelling anywhere. It's one thing to see somewhere, and another thing to get to know people, and make friends I won't forget. South-eastern Turkey was my first time travelling on my own, after which I spent a year travelling across he Middle East, Central Asia, India and South-east Asia.

Turkey was my favourite country to visit, particularly the east because there I met so many kind and interesting people. These experiences are what travel is all about for me.

At home, I enjoy playing trumpet in an orchestra, reading and films.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to see the world but it's not just about seeing sights, it's about experiences and meeting new people. Life is about making memories and having experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite TV series is the Leftovers. I listen mostly to classical music :P I watch a lot of movies, my favourite movies are: L'avventura, Chungking Express, Mulholland Drive, The Colour of Pomegranates, The Father.
My favourite books are The Unnameable, Ulysses, The Waves and V.
