About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploration! Learning! Excitement! I look forward to seeing and doing as many new and interesting things with my life as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm working my days away as a graduate student in Biomedical engineering while I spend my nights swing dancing, listening to music, playing board games, drinking beer, and enjoying the world around me be it at the movies or at a campsite. I want to do my best to ensure that those around me are just as excited and interested as I am. I want to try new things, meet new people, and experience as much as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
In a single sentence, I'm here to make other people smile and keep improving myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because its the friendliest, most social way to travel.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While its been hard to offer up space on the floor I share with multiple roommates, I'm looking forward to hosting people in the future! Most of my experience with hosting isn't through couchsurfing but rather through the swing dance community whose members (including myself) often make their spaces available to traveling dancers when hosting big events.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still kind of in and out of the couchsurfing scene, I first took advantage of couchsurfing as I traveled around Europe after finishing college. I loved meeting people and seeing their cities through their eyes rather than just hitting up the standard tourist attractions. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know new people as I moved from place to place.
Interests
Swing dancing, music, stories, board games, video games, science, cooking, history, the outdoors, the stars, other people. I'm hopelessly addicted to collecting and my house is full of CDs, records, comic books, and all sorts of pretty stones I found on the beach. Right now I'm super into the Android: Netrunner card game!
