Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I heard a lot about couchsurfing, read a lot of stories. Now me and my girlfriend are going to Italy from July, 26 till August, 9. And we would like to attempt couchsutfing.
Maybe it's trivially, but it's impossible to get full emotions from new country without communication with locals.
