I have an interesting and active imagination - I am passionate about hearing new ideas, seeing new things, being challenged and changing paths, and talking it all through with fellow humans... That's why I have always loved travelling and meeting new people.

I'm a good cook, have a relaxed and rude sense of humour, I'm getting into yoga and dance.

I'm on a mission to change vegetarian restaurant cuisine and highlight our relationship with food and recycling.

Really into live and new music - anything that brings life!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am fed up of tourist spots - I want to travel to amazing and/or beautiful places around the world without doing what you're told!

And I want to offer the same to anyone else who cares to drop in :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a solo static line parachute jump at age 49 and got tangled and almost failed to open chute... I don't recommend this!

I'm widely-read, interesting and a good listener, learning counselling and thinking about proper catering jobs - there's a funny mix!

I worked "in business" for 27 years and never want to go back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Woodburner stove for the winter, a bottle of wine or rum or hot chocolate :)
Lovely sunny garden for the summer - and the same as above!

Time and good company, a comfy sofa and a nice private bedroom to yourself.

Recommendations or trips out to nearby places if I'm not working (share petrol costs).
