I grew up in a suburb in St. Louis, MO. I went to college at Missouri S&T for civil engineering, worked in St. Louis as a civil engineer for about a year and a half and now I am living in Recife, Brazil with my wife! I want to explore this world! I want to travel to many countries long term, thru hike the PCT, AT and CDT, own and live in a van/tiny house, and meet new people.

Most of my life I have stayed in the state of Missouri. I have been to many countries, most of them not for very long, but I studied abroad in Brazil for 7 months. This really got me addicted to long term travel and I am wanting to get back to that life whenever I can. I love experiencing new things and finding myself in situations that I never thought I would be in. Meeting new people that I can share these new experiences with makes it all the more better :) Couchsurfing is a great way to accomplish all of this!
