Lisa and I are a married couple in our 30s with a passion for travel. We live in the historic city of Lincoln in the UK, and travel abroad whenever we can.

In 2017/18 we took a year out of our careers to travel the world together, visiting 20 countries across four continents. We now run the travel blog Career Gappers to help other people to take travel career breaks.

We both love discovering and cooking new food. If you stay with us we'll cook something up for you!

We're also both into art and creativity. Lisa is a brilliant painter and I play the piano and guitar. We like sports too, and often watch the rugby, football etc.

We love travel and want to help make it accessible to more people. Couchsurfing is a great resource for that, and we're happy to help people visit our beautiful home city.

We also love to meet new people in the places we visit around the world.

Movies/TV - anything we can binge on Netflix! Gripping dramas, silly comedies.
Books - I am into political and geographical history, and love fantasy too.
