I am a graduated art student now training to be a stone mason living in my home town of winchester. Not had much time to travel for the last few years (I know its sin) but hoping to be able to make time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my third meeting with the site. I used it for the first time with a friend who had used a account when we were travelling round Europe. I had a great time and met some amazing hosts some of who I am still in contact with. My second time was while I was at university. For a couple of months in my final year one of my friends and house mates used it to host people. This was great as we met some really lovely people which warmed the whole houses spirit during a particularly cold winter where we couldn't afford the heating. I am joining now myself as i finally have a job which i have weekends and decent amount of holiday time so I can travel and I am hoping to be in the position to be able to host in the coming months.

Interests

I play a guitar and banjo and try to attend folk nights for a sing along. I also Morris dance and love going and seeing traditional folk performances. I am really into beer as well so like to try the local stuff and which is a good excuse to go to a pub or bar ;) Because of my job I am like to look at the architecture and I love art (making and seeing)

Music, Movies, and Books

As you may have guessed I am a big folk music fan both contemporary and traditional but also love a huge range of other genres such as blues, funk, hip hop, rock and jazz.
When it comes to movies and books I love Science fiction though I wouldn't say that I is all i enjoy and I'm open to trying most thing.
