I'm in that classic "devoted my life to education, but now that's finished and I've got a stable job, I want to see the world, experience new cultures and meet new people" phase of my life. And I couldn't be more excited.

I'm a scientist at heart, and a social introvert in my soul. Quirks of biology and medicine are the things I could talk about for hours, but what I love most is getting to interact with new avenues of life I've never experienced.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I commit to a hobby, I commit hard! I've captained a Quidditch team (a real one!) to the world cup in Barcelona. I've represented Wales in an international board gaming competition in Amsterdam. I've played Rugby in the biggest stadium in Wales. I do love the follow through!

I like to think I'm a good conversationalist, perhaps to compensate for the fact I only speak one language! I'm very happy to help anyone looking to learn English. And I could talk science/sci-fi/fantasy for ever, so might be a good addition to a trivia team!

I'm trying to become a little more "worldly" on the whole. I want to see new parts of the world, see religions/spiritualities I've never interacted with, cultures I've never known, sports I've never played, people I'd have never met.
