About Me
Learning to embrace not having a place to call home while I continue searching for one.
This past year I've graduated college, moved to NYC where I joined various grassroots organizations, moved back to my college town to work as an ocean rescue lifeguard, and then moved back in with my parents where I worked in a burrito shop.
I believe that people are what makes a home home. My latest search will bring me to Minnesota, where I'm doing a service year through Americorps VISTA. I'm still new to CS and I would love to host in the future once I get settled in!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in a very multicultural setting and I've been fortunate enough to travel to a few different places both domestically and abroad. My most memorable experiences are those in which I bonded deeply with locals (coastal communities in Taiwan, Orchid Island, and New York City). Even though my stays were relatively short, some of the bonds we formed are stronger than the ones I have from my daily routines.
