One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got lost in the Australian outback with a friend, and ended up walking for 4 hours on a 40 degree day without water or shade. All that was around us was kangaroos and sand, and hill rolled into other hill, and as the hopeless directionlessness and dehydration halucinations kicked in, we saw a house in the distance, which we managed to reach without passing out, where the lady of the house told us that we had come across the only house in 100 acres.
