About Me

I love my friends and family to the moon and back and will do anything for them. I am a designer passionate about creating beautiful experiences for people and wish to make peoples' lives better.

I was born and raised in Silicon Valley and studied design in the east coast and Los Angeles, landing back in San Francisco for the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to Couchsurfing! Booked a spontaneous trip with my best friend and thought to go all out in adventure! I've heard wonderful things about couchsurfing and from my experiences traveling, there's no better way to get to know a new place than getting to know the people living in it. I love to share about my home city, San Francisco, and love to discover new amazing places not mentioned in guidebooks.

Interests

Design, technology, indoor rock climbing, hiking, running, traveling, new places, balancing both yelp reviews and serendipitous discoveries, a mix of cafes with nice environments and great ma & pop hole-in-the-wall hawker stands, street food, spaces, parks, beaches, dogs, hanging out with my friends

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was studying abroad in Singapore, my friends and I booked a spontaneous trip to the Philippines during our break. We had a one-way ticket, a small backpack and our passports in hand. We didn't know where we'd go but we ended up staying a few days at a Professional Online Poker players island escape/office, and befriending a guy with a surfboard on our flight, following him and his girl friend to a small, hidden island called Siargao, which ended up being one of the best spots to surf in. We took a ferry and rode scooters into the un-touched wilderness of the island and made best friends with the locals, learned to surf, jumped off rocks, drove through palm tree forests, drank a copious amount of coconuts and discovered peace, joy and happiness in life

Still would love to go back <3
Most importantly, learned that the best experiences can be from unplanned, unexpected moments.
