COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined around 2013 and had a great introduction to São Paulo, Brazil, when I moved there through staying with some amazing people. I have also attended various meet ups in South America and the UK.

兴趣

I studied Politics, and a little philosophy and history, so those topics interest me greatly. I have also been an English teacher and most recently worked in the education charity sector in the UK. s

Music, - all sorts. Some of the most enjoyable moments of my life so far have been spent at music festivals with good friends, partying to music that I love.

Films and cinema, - again all sorts from all over; documentaries, drama, action, comedy,...

Books and literature, currently reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance which feels very apt for this trip. Have enjoyed Down and out in Paris and London, by George Orwell. Have loved stuff by Irvine Welsh, Brett Easton Ellis, Michel Houellebecq. amongst others.

I am very interested in martial arts, especially boxing, Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. Also love cycling, trekking and of course motorcycling.

Food and cooking. I really enjoy cooking for myself and others. I like trying dishes from all over the world. Food from the Eastern Mediterranean area ranks as some of my favourite cuisine.
