ABOUT ME

I think I know Myself, sometimesI don't, sometimes I know myself too well.
I'm 23; at the moment I'm living in Porto, doing some freelance journalism and translations.
Last year I was studying filmmaking in Florence.
In the past I was a wanderer by choice; I hitchhiked across Europe; and stopped and lived for several months in Dublin, the in Barcelona, and then again in Paris.

It's hard to describe yourself in a couple paragraphs, when I don't really know who I am; the little I know is that I love Love, I love Life, and my main goal in Life is to see more of the world that I can;
Sometimes I'm sure I'll be a world famous writer, sometimes I wanna be a vet; I don't really know, but I like that.

PHILOSOPHY

It's even harder to write your philosophy in a couple paragraphs.
Considering that my Life Philosophy completely changes every two weeks.
Anyway, I think it's important to stay true to yourself; I believe in loyalty and passion and honour, if we can still make sense to the world in 2016.

I believe in positivity, I believe to always approach people with a smile; because if you're good, you; you'll attract good.

I believe in loving and respecting Nature and Animal and the sea and Planet Earth, because we're nothing compared to the Universe.

I believe there's much more to existence that just the things we see with our eyes and touch with our hands; and Love is the universal proof.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the luck to live for a couple months with some friends in a very nice house in the surroundings of Dublin, in those couple months when I was there, we hosted over 40 Couchsurfers; in the nine months my friends have been in the house, they hosted 104; they even wrote an article about it in a college newspaper in Dublin.
I really understand the beauty of sharing in those months, the beauty of different cultures and different colours and different sounds; Oh I love it.

Oh and also, back home for summer, I hosted a lovely american girl in my parents house, we spent a great week together, she was lovely.

Interests

Life and Beauty.

I love reading a great book, and trying to write one.

I love Cinema and Movies also.

I love animals and healthy good food.

I love the rain, and a comfy couch or a comfy bed.

I love Music; I'm learning to play the piano.

Music, Movies, and Books

On Books I could talk (or better write) forever.
I have to say the probably, to me, Ernest Hemingway is the best novelist.
But Jack Kerouac's writings have changed my Life.
Allen Ginsberg' Howl is worth mentioning here, as much as the short stories of Francis Scott Fitzgerald.
And the Count of Montecristo by Dumas:
And the wisdom of Tiziano Terzani, a great italian author.

In films, I love great good films.
Woody Allen is the author that made me fall in Love with spoken words.
Fellini made me fall in Love in Melancholy.

And I love every films that tries to say something new, that dares.

Music I love in an indescribable way.
it's hard to put it to words, music is emotion.
The piano and the violin are my favourite instrument.
I grew up with the Beatles.
Lately I've been listening to a lot of Instrumental Post Rock: maybe because I was melancholic (damn you Fellini)

But I love every song played with heart and passion, that shows Soul, that makes you feel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the luck to do many amazing things in my short life.
If I would be able to properly write a couple, I'd finally write that novel I'm desperately trying to write.

All the amazing things that have happened to me and that I've done, are all bounded by Love, by the power of Will, the strength of believing in yourself despite people and adversities, and most of all, kindness of strangers.

Probably the most amazing thing that happened to me (apart from Loving a person) is simply to get picked up by a nice guy on the road that offers you lunch and laughs with you and smiles to you and hugs you before saying goodbye.

Teach, Learn, Share

Difficult category, and the last one (almost);

I could sum it up and say that sharing you how you truly learn, so to teach you simply have to share.

And that's actually true.

That is how you learn, that's how I learned the things I cherish the most, by hearing someone talking about with truth and passion in its eyes, making me fully understand.
