About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Shake and be shaken throughout Europe, Morocco and Mediterranean

ABOUT ME

Well, I'd say that I'm a dangerously curious guy, who learned from some unexpected experiences that one must take care sometimes.. lol. No, don't worry, be happy with me, I can make some fun of it, and it doesn't mean you must necessarily be included in my over-the-top ambitions.. lol. Well, regardless the exciting hectics of travelling, exploring and discovering, I try to keep a laid-back attitude towards life and people, and, when everything is ok, I get very easily fond of the friends I make. I'm quite independent and tend to do everything on my own, but of course I prefer to share my trips with others, so please be more than welcome to go alongside.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy and be enjoyed in life, preferably with respect and generosity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host, as a guest, as a company, as a city guide, etc..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my first experience, I co-hosted a guy from Romania, CouchSurfing guest of my room-mates, while I was living in Seville. That's how I learned about Couch Surfing. In Lisbon I've been guest of Mariana Giusti and Cibele Kojima. There I was unable to host, so I helped visitors in the CouchSurfing meetings. Back in Brazil I also co-hosted Luqman Bazlan, from Malaysia. I also know a lot of people and have many friends in the CouchSurfing community.

Interests

I'm an architect and urban planner so I usually travel to see cities and buildings, mainly, besides art works and museums. But I also love nature and beautiful landscapes, they always touch me. When travelling, I use to pay more attention to the sunset of the day, which will normally include a glass of the typical local beverage, accompanied by one of the typical local dishes. If that romantic scene is not shared with the local lover, late on the night I'll be surely flirting, hahaha.. In long trips I like to travel reading some significant local author (much probably indicated by YOU), or some writing that has to do with that moment of my life. Politics and social issues interest me a lot, so maybe I'll be asking you one or two naïve, uninformed and uncomfortable questions... lol.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many.. by now Rodrigo Leão, Noé Gaspar and Guimarães Rosa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I have an issue with extreme limits, so maybe that's why I always remember my first initiatory travel, in Chile: that was the first (and only) time I put my feet in the waters of the Pacific Ocean; crossed my highest obstacle, the Andes; and stepped the most in the South region I could, the Isla de Chiloe. Never drank better wines before. Never eaten so much delicious oysters for such a low price! Well, now time to reach the most in North, West and East places on Earth..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can explain some details in architecture and urbanism, as well as in art history and theory, and I'd love to learn more about it too. Also sharing knowledge about languages is something interesting for me. I know a bit of classical music, and I'd love to have company in concerts, a rare thing nowadays.. I like cooking and wine matching, so please let's practice! lol.
