ABOUT ME
Recently moved to Austin, from Omaha. This transition was probably the most spontaneous thing I have ever done. It wasn't that I didn't like Omaha, but I feel like relocating is a good character builder, and it gives you an appreciation for things you've taken for granted.
I love Austin because it is such an active city, which fits my lifestyle well. Initially when my roommate Chris and I moved here, in February, we had no place to live and no work. We were staying on a mere acquaintances sofa for 2 weeks. Fortunately both of us found jobs within the first week, and the home came shortly thereafter. That experience is what encouraged me to join the couch surfer community.
Once we found a place to live, and work, things began to flourish. We found a great place to live. A 2,400sq/ft home, 5 bedroom. We soon gained 3 more roommates. A wonderful, creative group of individuals from all walks of life.
Interests
My interests are shared by all members of the house. We are active and creative. We love eating well and share time with one another. Whenever we can, we love enjoying the natural wonders that Austin has to offer. Laziness is not in our nature.
Music plays a huge role in our home. Two of the roommate are extremely talented Dj's. If one of us is home, there is music playing.
Another roommate has a strong focus on her artwork. She is involved in shows quite often, traveling for most of them.
The other two roommate enjoy photography.
We are a fun and social group.
We also have 3 animals. A 6yr old cat named Maverick (15 lbs), a 3yr old dog named Zues (17 lbs), and a 2yr old dog named Sid (30 lbs).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Music festivals dominate the most memorable moments of my life.
This year was my first SXSW, we had only been here for a month before the festival so the city was still very foreign.
Sasquatch music festival last year was a blast, a 31hr road trip from Omaha.
Coachella in 2010 was a live changing experience.
Many more experiences to come!
