Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's hard to give a unique answer, because I think most people use couchsurfing for these reasons ;)

I like to immerse in new countries and their culture in a simple and uncomplicated and authentic way. But as a tourist its often difficult to get more than an superficial touristy overview of a city or country.. that's why I like to get in contact with local people while travelling. And Couchsurfing offers great opportunities..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

.. living 2 years in Quito, Ecuador.
.. an erasmus-semester in the Netherlands.
.. climbing the Kilimanjaro.
.. hiking in the Mountains of Ladakh (India) and beeing in the total lonelyness for 2 days at 5000 meters.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to show people around in Vienna... there is so much to explore in this city.
I also love to cook and eat good food - and Austrian cuisine is a really good one, which I can show you!
If you are interested in climbing or bouldering - I would be happy to teach you some basics.
