I'm working to complete my degree and get home to the UK. I'm a homebody at heart, with occasional attacks of itchy feet. so every now and then I up sticks and venture forth seeking knowledge, friendship and adventure!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I might not always be able to hang out but I'm more than happy to give advice on fun stuff to do in my area, so send me a wee message and we'll go on an adventure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only couchsurfing experience I've had started out as a nightmare and ended up showing us the kindness of strangers. A friend and I got stuck in Lyon because the train we had planned on getting was cancelled. We knew no one in the area and my French is rusty at best so an emergency call was sent out. Within minutes we had a reply and a bed for the night. The couple who put us up gave us dinner, let us shower, and gave us advice for how to continue our journey. All they asked in return was that we pay the favour forwards, which I fully intend to do. Today you, tomorrow me.
