Overview
About Me
Young privileged white male with a wonderful loving family, matured into a world where... wait what!? What the hell do I do with this! Was following the university into job path via psychology and discovered that I didn't want that. Decided to grab my instrument, tent and bicycle and up and leave in search for a life with more meaning. Currently travelling in western Europe. Trying to have fun and grow as a spiritual individual and maybe save the world? Starting with founding human connection and sharing of ideas experiences and skills championing vulnerability and love . It is my belief that problems on the scale the world sees today can only really be faced if people are authentic and empowered on an individual basis.
Naive? Yes but I'm still young, it'd be a shame if I didn't go in kicking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My family has been hosting surfers for some time, and its been really cool, value flowing both ways.
During my travels I found myself couch surfing through meeting people naturally, now that I'm upgrading to a device that can use internet, why not sign up to the online community!
There is something about travelling and the human mind, ways of seeing the world, time and perspective that I'm trying to piece together. I call it the "travel frame" and this topic is of particular interest to me and reason on its own to be here.
Interests
Cultural exchange, avid discussion, philosophy, music, art, adventure. Cats. Openness in general leading into pretty much anything authentic. Human connection. When someone is passionate about something, that is interesting to me. If someone is sharing pretty much anything openly that is interesting to me. If I can experience new feelings or interestingly induced states that is interesting to me. Also Cats. I'm passionate about cats.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite artist is Nujabes, literally changed my life. I enjoy a lot of different music, seems to me almost all music has a place and a time in my heart.
I've loved watching Fight club, 12 angry men and pulp fiction just to name a few.
I'm a sucker for deep well thought out and relatable fantasies , so Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan takes the cake for books. Also appreciating a lot of books that discuss humanity in the contexts of modern society or bridging bodies of thought with a specific interest in psychology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a year sailing around the Indian ocean while I was growing up on a sailing boat with my family and cats. As I grow older, the more I see how this has changed my stride.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything! This is what its all about! I want to learn, I want to grow, if I can help you do the same I will and it will be a blast! Anything from local things, to cooking to your ideologies to pet care!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I travel with a big "spacedrum" which is a "handpan" (like Hang, but not original Hang). I have found that its a great instrument for sharing music even for those who have no musical experience.
In addition I try to apply myself to my hosting situation by being open vulnerable and appreciative. We can converse at length or have fun! I can help out with random stuff too. We'll see!
