Overview
About Me
American girl currently traveling full-time, mostly in Asia.
Born and raised in the United States. After getting a fancy piece of paper, I exited the US and spent 2013-2016 in the Netherlands. Between smelling (and possibly smoking) alllll of the flowers and trying not to get run over by bicycles, I worked as a designer. Eventually, I lost patience with the seemingly endless cloudy weather and drizzle and yet again wandered off to travel the world.
These days, I is Professional Backpacker. My initially overland-only journey started in Georgia, and I spent most of the last few years in South Asia battling creepy dudes and drowning my stomach with spiced foods and ghee. I save money by being hosted and traveling on the worst transport available, and end up blowing my savings once I encounter tasty food or coffee. Somewhere along the way, I figured out how to make money travel blogging and freelancing, and now make enough survive on a backpacker budget through my written word and photography. Weird.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Murakami and Neil Gaiman are my homeboys.
Movies: I'm a sucker for anything animated most excellently.
Music: Give me a good beat, I'll take it. Throw in some traditional instruments for good measure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned how to drive a motorcycle Pakistan and I didn't die.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm far too young to have any wisdom to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good laugh, stories about things not going according to plan on the road, and a photography tip or two.
