PHILOSOPHY

I love to learn. There's always so much more to know, be it about people around the world or the way the world works around us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently without a place of my own, I can only surf at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A year or so ago, I was first introduced to the site. My roommates at the time hosted some people cool people. Recently, a friend reminded me of it and since I'm looking to do a large trip next year, my interest as been rekindled. I'd love to hear about your own experiences.

Interests

The subject I study, math and physics. Mostly physics. It's lots of fun (though school often was not).

Otherwise, though, I enjoy being outside. For three years, I participated in the Outdoors Club at McGill. At the moment, I just want to ski as much as possible and explore Whistler.

In the summer, I enjoy camping and hiking. Last summer I did a little bit whitewater kayaking and so far, it's been pretty great (even if I'm not).

Otherwise, I enjoy reading. Normally easy and happy fantasy novels but sometimes I venture outside that box for actual literature...

Music, Movies, and Books

The list can be neverending

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past fall I lived in a rural village in Mali, in West Africa. It was an amazing, if often challenging, experience. It gave me a chance to experience a way of life I never really imagined. The Malian culture was in so many ways completely opposite to the Canadian.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking about math and physics...but sometimes people don't appreciate that so much. If at all interested, just give the go-ahead.

I recently got back from a 3 months trip in Africa, so I'm more than ready to share what I learned there.
