ABOUT ME

I'm a naturally calm and quiet individual; however, I have such a tenacity to get to know strangers/foreingers around me that most people dont believe the former. But just because I identify myself as a calm and quiet guy, I never flinch at the opportunity to grab a number of nice smooth beers down at the local pub or popular nightclub. I'm from the midwest in the United States where the people there have the reputation of being the nicest in the whole country. And yes, this is a biased statement, but a damn good one. In college I was a history major. I consider myself to be a romantic, not in the lovey-dovey sense (that just gets overbearing), but more about how life can surround us and take over our thoughts and feelings and compel us to action. That's why I have such an affinity for traveling and meeting new people and seeing different places. Shot glasses are my souvenir keepsake, so if you know where i can get them i'll most likely buy one or 23, depending if it's a weekday, weekend, or a vacation. In college I belonged to the Sigma Chi fraternity, so for all of my brothers out there reading this: "In hoc signo vinces". Basically, i love life and I'm here to enjoy it regardless of how it's done. If you need an extra hand to help you on your uncle's farm in Norway, you can count on me. If you need someone to look over your hostel or B&B during the summer, I can do that too! Even if you need an au pair for the summer, I'd love to do it. I love retelling the adventures I've had and the experiences i've shared. So, if you're a guy: lets have a great fucking time and drink, smoke, socialize, flirt with the ladies, do manly things, whatever. If you're a girl: If you want to do the same stuff previously mentioned, you are awesome and i'm going to go buy the ring right now. Although if you have different tastes, i'll be able to accommodate you in any way that I can - museums, parks, sunny outdoor cafes, wine tasting, trendy shopping (I will not go in with you), outdoor food markets, the whole nine yards. So this is all about me, or at least all that I can write about right now, and if you want an adventure just send me a message.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed a few times, but every time I did I loved it. There's no better experience than walking into the home or apartment of a complete stranger one minute, then getting along like you were long lost friends the next.
