ABOUT ME

I'm a passionate sudent with lots! of interests. I tried nearly every sports possible, my real passion remains football and skiing, altough recently I'm getting into surfing and diving, too.
After my high school year in Alaska, I couldn't stop thinking about going abroad again > in Germany we have a word for it: FERNWEH (equivalent to homesickness, just related to the urge to see the world)
So now that I have finished my Bachelors, I want to see more of Latin America.

PHILOSOPHY

Everybody has its own fate in his hand, it's up to you what you make out of your life. And don't say it's not possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first CS experience was during a road trip in South Africa. I was astonished how open minded and welcoming my hosts were.
Since I do believe the most important reason to travel is to get to know new cultures and people, couchsurfing is definitely the best way to travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only a couple, but already enough to know that this is the ideal platform to get to know locals and share some great time together!

Interests

I have too many interest and too little time to keep up with all of them sufficiently, but traveling is definitely my first priority!
Apart from that my aim is to try to comprehend the world and my environment as much as possible, by reading, traveling and mostly talking to people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like to go to festivals, but I'm open for pretty much all kinds of music: Electro, Indie, Rock, Oldies...

Books play an important role in my life, I read everything from historical novels to current politics. I'm always curious in other's favorite books, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Colombia without speaking Spanish - after half a year I was the happiest person on the planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I'm fairly fluent in various languages I always like to help others improve their language skills too.

In Latin America I want to get to know more local dances. Right now I'm trying to improve my salsa.
