I am an open-minded and open-hearted wanderer, lover of deserts and seas and forests, craftsman of thought, forever alive in change. I've lived and traveled around the world, and love to learn from people I meet everywhere.

At the moment, I am living in San Diego temporarily, with my partner Isabelle, a Brazilian retired dancer, right at the edge of a whirlwind couple years and a totally open and unknown future.

I love the mission of CS! I've had such great encounters with people I've stayed with or hosted, and look forward to continue for a long time. I think CS is a wonderful way to help and learn from others, to find experience and connection where we wouldn't otherwise. I am glad to open my home to fellow travelers when my situation allows, and I value so much the welcoming feeling of being hosted in a city I'm visiting.

-looking forward to Future Islands concert this weekend
-recently watched 'Husbands' (John Cassavettes), and quite enjoyed it
-I'm in fucking love with Virginia Woolf, though all I've read yet is 'The Waves', and I've read several books in the time that I've been avoiding the last 10 pages

I teach/have taught swimming, sailing, english as a second language... and now yoga, and I would be very happy to share any of those with you, if you have any interest!
