ABOUT ME

I was born and have lived almost my whole life in Warsaw, Poland which I feel like I know inside out. I have also lived in Chicago and Madrid for some time, as an exchange student.

PHILOSOPHY

To be better, learn about the world, understand more... Yet to enjoy whatever life brings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend introduced it to me when we were looking for a place to stay in Porto. From that time CS has become my travelmate:) Since then, I also hosted some people and I equally loved it!

Intereses

Traveling, music (soul, jazz, hiphop...), books, sometimes sports (tennis!), sometimes lazy evenings with a bottle of something and a good conversation partner, sharing little moments of joy, cultural exchange. I like hiking and running. I've just run my first half marathon in Budapest this fall, and I'm really proud of it!

Música, películas y libros

Music - one of my favourite things to do. If I ever had much money, I'd go on a music trip around the world. I think the world IS music (do I sound too philosphical?). I enjoy watching movies when I'm in the mood for. Books are great but I have to admit I've recently been bad at reading, my book stack is ever growing.

Artists I likeinclude Erykah Badu, MIA, James Blake, Funkadelic, Fela Kuti, OutKast, Brazilian music, the Roots, Janelle Monae, Regina Spektor, Bonobo, and many, many more (I'm open for new things)...

Authors include Zadie Smith, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Toni Morrison, Ryszard Kapuscinski

Favorite movies: Lost in Translation, Bagdad Cafe

Algo increíble que he hecho

Being at the Championships in Wimbledon. Wonderful event, unforgettable athmosphere, uncomparable with anything. I also took part in two wonderful 3-week workcamps in Spain. Small towns, no rush, people with big hearts. More recently, Rio de Janeiro at sunset from Pao de Acucar was one of the most spectacular views I remember.

More recently: solo hitchhiking through the South and North Island of New Zealand. Awesome people, beautiful places.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Some Spanish at a beginner's level, Polish all levels, tennis as long as I catch up with your pace (I'm in a baaad shape), anything that might occur in a conversation.
