Hello all!

I'm a young, open-minded adult who successfully graduated high school last summer in Germany.

Since I wanted to experience something else in my life before going to a university, I made the commitment of volunteering in Camphill Special School, an unique school for special needs children and young adults in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. The work is quite hard, however very inspiring and rewarding at the same time.

Being now in the United States, I want to make use of that great travel opportunity and also want to meet American locals.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Especially during this voluntary year I have realized how important patience, empathy and mutual understanding are for me and how much it is still needed in this world.

By participating in Couchsurfing, I want to contribute in giving that understanding between the people. I believe that meeting and staying with locals, sharing information and having fun together creates a good connection and makes you gain way more out of your vacation that just staying in a hotel or hostel.

Simply, Couchsurfing combines the exploration the place you are stating at with getting to know how life in that specific city or country is like, what those people's habits, dreams, wishes, their lives are.

My favorite music is pretty much all kind of music, to begin with the good old Beatles, rock bands like Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Linkin Park or Nickelback. What I also like is alternative music and lately I have listened more to country music. But also every now and then also listening to old and new classic music like Beethoven, Einaudi or Yiruma is very enjoyable for me.

Traveling to Cuba with couple of friends over Christmas Break 2016/2017 for two weeks.
Amazing people, amazing culture, more than interesting historical side.
Awesome country!

I am very open-minded to learn new stuff towards every direction.
Besides, I'm very interested in politics, economics and technology and I am more than willing to talk about and share my knowledge.

If people are interested in learning German or getting to know the country better from a German inhabitant, I will also accommodate their request. A little German is always gut! ;)

I can share my kindness and responsibility of keeping the apartment, house or whatever the couch surfing situation might be tidied up and clean.
