ABOUT ME

I have lived in London all my life. I went to university to study physics, but ended up getting bored and not attending any lectures or exams so I left after 4 years... I worked in a pub for the last year and am now travelling about. I want to return to university next year, hopefully in the Netherlands, to study aerospace engineering, which sounds much more interesting than physics!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time I'm trying this, and the first time I'm going backpacking too, so I'm really excited! Looking forward to having some new experiences and making awesome new friends!

Interests

I love films. I think if I weren't pursuing engineering, I'd be trying to make films.
I like festivals and gigs and the atmosphere you get at some of them is amazing.
I like animals too. They're really fun to watch.

Movies: The Graduate, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, La Haine, Napoleon Dynamite.
Music: Kasabian, Klaxons, Bloc Party, Prodigy, Rage against the machine, Wombats etc.
Books: I don't read much but my favourite is 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt. Sinai in Egypt at night and then watching the sun rise, sitting at the top.

Since I'm not very good at it, I'd love to learn some kind of cooking, whether it's a local speciality or anything!
