Overview
About Me
I am a primary school teacher who loves to travel. My professional passion is to help make necessary change in education. I have decided to make life into a journey of development and experiences - I want to learn as much as I can to help make progress in educational change. I learn Spanish sporadically and want to improve when I have the chance.
When I'm travelling, I like to gain an insight into what progressive education looks like in schools and institutions renowned for implementing a better way. I enjoy talking with and learning from others who adopt a global view, and believe in the need to live responsibly, treating each other with respect and kindness.
I'm an introvert, but open minded and friendly. I like to meet new people with similar ideas about life - citizens of the world. I can cook a few things and will happily make a meal to share. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To support the concept of Couchsurfing, to meet new people, be able to explore new places and gain valuable information and insights from locals who live there. I like being able to do this also for other travellers when I have a home to offer.
When I was coupled up, my then partner and I hosted travellers (friends of friends) on our couch in Melbourne. We were able to host a couple of times in Cusco, Peru when we had the opportunity while renting a short lease apartment there.
