Overview
About Me
I'm honest and happy go lucky, with a few principles I try to remember: the more you know, the more you know you don't; everything will become apparent in the fullness of time etc..
Ed is also honest and bloody great conversation, especially if you're into soccer/history/politics/geography/food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on the site since 2011 because the ethos behind it all immediately appealed to me. I tell others about it whenever a suitable opportunity arises and refer to the forums before I travel somewhere.
I've hosted a few people in the UK, surfed in Venice and met interesting individuals and groups in Palestine.
Interests
Trying to keep the child within entertained.
Music, Movies, and Books
Many, many types of music, from minimalist to Malian to metal.
I'd urge you to watch Apocalypse Now, then a David Attenborough documentary, then Madagascar 2 - in that order.
When reading, I enjoy rather a lot of genres, my favourite is fantastical humourous magic realism e.g. Terry Pratchett, Angela Carter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Leaving kin and country to join the one I love on the other side of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make strange noises with your hands/some grass/a flute.
I'm eager to become more proficient at beat boxing, which I can't really do at all... yet.
Ed is a professional chef who loves cooking for and with people. Also if you ever want to talk football, he's your man.
What I Can Share with Hosts
While Ed is making something delicious, I will draw you a colourful picture, probably of yourself, or at least, how I see you.
