ABOUT ME

I really enjoy new things, going new places and meeting new people. I've decided that i might as well enjoy myself while i can and work only enough to enable me to go travelling again. I'm pretty active and go surfing, rock climbing and mtn biking whenever i can, i rekon i might as well get as much done now, you never know what will happen tomorrow!.....

I'm really relaxed, happy to go with the flow as long as it's leading to interesting destinations!

Im trained as an ocean scientist, but worked more recently as a chef, and then as an engineer making windmills. i'll give anything a go!

Photography, art and different cultures are major interests of mine, i love to find out how different people do things, what they eat, and what they their view of the world is. I also love cooking and will eat anything (well, once) and i like to try and do things how the locals do, whatever that might be.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live - We can all learn something from everybody else, i really enjoy traveling and experiencing different views on life and seeing the different ways in which people live. No person is better than anyone else, just different, that's what makes life interesting.

I go to the local catch-ups in southampton when i'm there, nice to see how other people are getting on, and i host and surf!

Music, Movies, and Books

ROCK! or anything with some good guitar playing in it. Also like Jazz and Funk, and some blues (eric clapton, BB king) and also more world music like Gypsy Kings, Manau Chao, Carlos Santana, Amediou and Miriam. Pretty eclectic tastes really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of a 4000+m mountain in the french alps, fresh snow, really clear crisp morning, just in time to watch the sunrise from the top with my friends - perfect!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach surfing up to intermediate level, and really enjoy doing so. i can also teach windsurfing and sailing and kayaking. i'm also a qualified rock climbing instructor (SPA trained) and have a vague idea about kitesurfing.
